As part of the 50th anniversary of the San Antonio World’s Fair the McNay Art Museum in association with UTSA’s Special Collections created an exhibit which ran from May 3rd thru July 29th. The exhibit was a collaboration between the McNay and the Special Collections Dept of the University of Texas at San Antonio to tell the HemisFair ’68 story thru the display of materials from San Antonio Fair, Inc. (UTSA’s collection #MS31). On display was a nice mixture of both finished materials printed for the Fair, as well as, preliminary concept sketches from early on in the Fair’s planning / design.
