Murals

The two main murals commissioned for the fair can be found in the convention center lagoon. Both share the same name of “The Confluence of Civilizations”, however, each covers the Fair’s theme in different ways.

The first mural was created by Mexican artist Juan O’Gorman and can be found above the two-story glass front facade of the performing arts theater. Here is a link to an online article on the mural.

The second mural was created by Guatemalan artist Carlos Merida and can be found in the two-story stair lobby in the convention center facing the river lagoon.
